Claims and Compensations

We believe in fairness and best business practice and consumers must get the exact experience as advertised or better and the customers have rights that must be respected, therefore we take Consumers protection rights very seriously. You matter to us, you are the reason of our existence, we appreciate you, your time and investment.

As Travel Agency / Tour Operator / DMC, LIVE FOLKS assumes all its mistake and honors its responsibilities. Your booking is a contract between you and LIVE FOLKS, we  must fulfilled our responsibilities and the terms and condition of said contract must be honored to the letter.

So, if you feel like you have had a bad experience with us, don’t hesitate to explore your options to  make a claim and seek compensation. Your voice matters, and we are ready to listen. Stay informed, empowered, and never settle for anything less than the best.

Send us an email to [email protected], describing what had occurred and the subject “My Claim seeking Compensation”, 1 or 3 days maximum after the travel services were provided for the claim to be Accepted.

Are my personal data and Credit Card details Secured?

We have our VERIFIED MERCHANT seal displayed on our website. The highest priority for us is both your information, payment details and our business protections against fraudsters of all sort, to protect you and your credit card information. We are working with one of the most prominent Credit Card Paymen Processing company, a leader in the Industry and a Subsidiary of Visa, Authorize.net: Since 1996, Authorize.net has been a leading provider of payment gateway services, managing the submission of billions of transactions to processing networks on behalf of merchant customers. Authorize.net is a wholly owned subsidiary of Visa (NYSE: V).

How do I pay for my booking (s)?

You are able to pay online for your booking(s) within 3 easy secure steps. You can use a Visa, Master card and Paypal to pay and  to confirm your booking(s) instantly. No further action is required, the booking is instantly confirmed and all-important information will be sent to you via email instantly as well.

What is Live Follks Cancellation and Refund Policies?

You may want to cancel your booking at any time for any reason you might consider valid. Simply contact customer service until 11 p.m every day of the week.

Due to the nature of our industry, we provide a 100 percent (%) refund for cancellation that occurs at least 48 hours before the booking departure date, with no question asked. All refund will be applied towards the same credit cards the purchase was made with.

How long does it take to get refunded?

It takes 1 business day for the refund to be fully processed on our end, you will receeive a refund notification email at the moment the refund has been issued. However, it may take 2 to 3 business days for the funds to be available on your payment method depending on your bank.

 

Does Live Folks accept in Destination or last minute bookings?

Yes, you are able to book while you are in Panama, the day before the tour date as a last minute booking. We recommend to make your booking days in advance to guarantee your seat (s) as and the there is booking cut off time before a booking of at least 16 hours to allow last minute bookings.

 

How do I get in touch with Live Folks?

Contacting us could not be easier, from your booking ticket and receipt you have all of our contact details such as e-mail address and phone number. You can also choose to contact us by filling out our contact form page, calling our phone line, send us an email, WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram chats.

What happen if the minimum tour participant is not met?

Live Folks, guarantees all direct bookings and will run the tours with even 1 tour participant as a private tour. This is a benefit that applies only to travelers who have booked their excursions directly with us and not through a third-party.

 

Can I make changes to my booking (s)?

If you need to make changes to your booking (s) simply contact us via email or WhatsApp or call us to let us know the changes you would like to make to your booking. If you want to change your tour original date, let us know us your preferred new date to check for availability at least 72 hours prior to your booking date, if you have changed hotel and you want to change your pick-up address, contact us at least 24 hours before your booked date and last if you want to add a new participant to your booking let us know at your earliest convenience and before the tour departure to check available seats.

Are Live Folks tour guides certified?

Most definitely, all of our tour guides / directors are Certified by the Authority of Tourism of Panama (ATP) the highest instance that handle the Tourism / Hospitality industry in Panama. Besides the extensive experiences and knowledge, they have, every 2 years they have to renew their certifications.

What is the maximum group size that I can be part of?

It is a guarantee when you booked one of our small group tours, there will never be more than 10 participants’ total in the same transportation. Unless you have your own group that is larger than 10 people then you will get a private group tour just for your party size.
