Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about us as a tour operator:
Jeff KoontzWe had a great time with Hector on our Anton Valley tour. Would highly recommend this tour company and Hector for whatever adventure you choose in Panama. We booked the Anton Valley Uniqueness tour. Anton Valley is a nice break from Panama City as it’s seemingly much cooler and offers a more rustic environment. As a day trip from Panama City - there are a number of sights that you’ll likely see - the Museum, the Butterfly sanctuary, the Nispero Zoo, El Macho waterfalls, the Petroglyphs, lunch and the hot springs. There are tours that offer the ziplining at the El Macho waterfall area, as well as other hiking in the area. For the most part - I think these sites form the basis for most tours of the valley. Are you going to enjoy all the sights? Hard for me to say, but you will enjoy spending time with Hector on your tour - have a good driver, who is on time, and has a great personality. By booking direct with Live Folks you’ll cut out the wholesalers and have at least a user (me) recommended guide to take you where you want to go.
Tasha FonkHector and team were unbelievable and the highlight of our visit to Panama. We booked the Anton Valley Zip Lining Adventure. We had 6 adults and 2 kids (9 and 7) and ended up booking a private tour. LiveFolks were prompt at responding to my query about special pickup location instructions. From the moment we got in the van I knew we were going to have a great time. Hector's love for Panama is infectious, and he's a wealth of information. We were completely at ease the entire time, Hector and his team were open and friendly. Hector even patiently listened to my 7 year old as she showed him the sign language alphabet. He listened intently to her and tried out each letter with her and made her light up with excitement. After our zip lining adventure, Hector and team took us up to the waterfall and then down into the natural swimming hole. Next, we headed into Anton Valley where we had a delicious lunch at Carlitos Pizza. We wrapped up our trip shopping at a local market to pick out souvenirs. Hector and his team made sure that we thoroughly enjoyed our day together and were there to capture the memories we made along the way, often picking out the perfect locations to capture as much Panamanian beauty as possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for being such wonderful and compassionate humans. We'll forever remember the amazing day we had with you there to guide our way ensuring we got the most out of our trip and wonderful pictures to remember it by!
Laura GonçalvesGreat tour! Hector was incredible and also the guys who help us with the rappel activity. Much worth it! Good to know and view more about Panama and it’s nature. The view from the top of india dormida is just incredible! Thank you! Fully recomended
Joshua LibermanBUYER BEWARE!!! Be very careful booking with this company. I booked a day trip weeks ago thru a third party company. Live Folks NEVER reached out to us to confirm any details even though they had our cell phone and email info. I was told we would get a confirmation my 8pm the night before the trip. Never received it so I contacted them directly but it was after hours by then. By the time they got back to me the next day, the trip had left and we missed out. They never picked us up. And then they refused to refund ANY of our money. They said they reached out to me thru a website that I don’t even have an account with. Be VERY careful using this company. There are many other choices out there.
Lorelei HuntThis full day of activities was exactly what I was looking for. If you’re here for one day and want to see Panama and don’t want to learn about the canal (because you’re already taking a cruise or a tour that is going to do just that) then this is the tour for you! I love animals and the trip to the zoo and the butterfly sanctuary was fantastic! I saw jaguars and tapirs as well as other animals that I have never seen. On the same trip, I went to the butterfly, sanctuary and Gamboa and this butterfly sanctuary was much better. Tons more butterflies, including a lot of the blue ones that I didn’t get a picture of in the other sanctuary because they were so few. A very small trek to the waterfall. It was very satisfying. I wear a brace and I was able to handle the few stairs involved. Then you get to go to see petroglyphs, which is another one of my favorite things to do. You’ll get a chance to visit the local market, as well as eat in town. And if you think you’re done, don’t forget the hot springs where you can put on a mud mask and your skin will be super soft afterward. all these activities are in one small town, which make it very possible to go from place to place within a few minutes by your driver and guide, who is so knowledgeable, spoke perfect English, and made so many activities in one day so much fun!
Charnia HallGreat experience! We learned so much from our tour guide. The views and monkeys come right up to you!!!
Jasmine SledgeIncredible experience and our tour guide was so knowledgeable, kind and friendly! Absolutely recommend to anyone in Panama
zeina hamdanWe had a private tour with livefolks that was a marvelous adventure. We hiked the sleeping Indian mountain and rappelled down the waterfalls. Our driver Hector, our hike guide Danielle and rappel instructor Orial and Stanley were the best at what they do. Loved it all and would recommend it. PS: ask for the easier way to get to the falls in case you don’t want to take the sleeping Indian hike.
Rohan GordonMy family and I booked this Panama canal and city tour and we were simply amazed by the level of professionalism. They answered all of our questions before the booking and the tour was amazing so was the tour guide.
Jennifer ZieglerWe had the most wonderful tour of San Felipe Castle, Portobelo and The Panama Canal with Hector P!!!!! He was very knowledgeable and told us so much history!!!! Jan PSnorkeling in pouring rain. With 10 people from our family in a boat and with a paddle in the pouring rain across the lake to the snorkeling area. The snorkeling did not produce many spectacular images, but it was enjoyable.Verified

Andrea438Very interesting historical site Very interesting historical site, part of the World Heritage sites (UNESCO) . A guide is strongly recommended for having historical information's of the Castillo otherwise you risk to miss the importance of this site that's was part of a Spanish defense system and its peculiarity. You will be transported in the fascinating word of conquistador's galleons devoted to gold transportation, buccaneers and pirates.Verified

Traveling with MomTruly Wonderful, Educational & Informative Mom and I always schedule private tours to learn the history of every location to which we travel. This tour was one of the best tours we've taken. I reached out to Live Folks, via whatsapp, and received a response very quickly from a live person who answered all of my questions. I booked directly with Live Folks and they sent me a payment link and emails with all of the information I needed. Hector, our guide, was knowledgeable, personable, patient, and engaging. He answered all of our questions, and we had a lot. The tour is long, but there were no dull moments, we learned a lot and laughed a lot. The time passes quickly and there were plenty of breaks. The history of Portobelo and the ruins is amazing, the town is colorful with beautiful artwork located throughout. The people are beautiful and warm and our lunch in Portobelo was delicious. This tour also includes the Agua Clara Visitor's Center and Hector explained all facets of the the ships moving through the canal. He also showed up where the river meets the ocean, and gave us plenty of time to take it all in. We appreciated Hector's expertise so much we booked a second tour with him.Verified
Carmen RGreat time! My 14 year-old daughter and I are beginners. We loved this Zipline adventure. Very friendly staff. Gracias!Verified
Sightseer635148A memory for a lifetime! I am so glad I chose this tour to visit the Embera Tribe. Hector was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable & able to translate from Spanish to English. Hector has lived in Panama 17 years and knows the people in the community really well. There were plenty of stories shared & lots of laughs. He answered all my questions about Panama, the culture & the tribe. I learned so much! The tour I took was about 6 hours. I’m so glad he encouraged me to participate in the dance at the end. This will always be a memorable experience! Thank you!Verified
NicoleRipoff- never again with this agency I booked over Selina Hostal in Panama City. I asked them, do we have a guide who will explain the Guns Yalla culture- yes. What do you have in mind when you think of a caribean island? The transportation to and from the ports were good. The rest was a ripoff. We dropped of a guy on a beautiful island and stopped at another beautiful one. Then we arrived at „our“ island. What a disappointment. No real beach and dirty. Then a crowed of 20 people who had come from Colombia the day before had their last night at that Island and had partyed heavily so there were no beverages except rum and freshly picked coconut. Next day we had the island for out own. They picked is up at 13:30 to bring us to another island. There we supposted to stay for 1,5h. After 30 minutes another boat with a guide from another agency arrived and took us to an island on which indigenes people live and we got a tour and some explanations. The boat trips were chaotic. It seams either the capaints do what they want or they don‘t have a plan. Never again with this agency.Tripadvisor rating score: 4.5 of 5, based on 57 reviews
