LIVE FOLKS maintains two separate liability insurance policies. The first is mandatory under Panamanian law and required by the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) for licensed tour operators. In addition, LIVE FOLKS has voluntarily acquired an additional General Liability Insurance, which is not legally required, as part of best business practices to further protect travelers and business partners, including travel agents, wholesalers, and outbound tour operators.
Please note that LIVE FOLKS’ liability insurance does not replace personal travel insurance. We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain their own comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, and other unforeseen events.
